
With more than 25 years of experience, Suzanne Beane Chanesman has successfully served as art director and designer on award-winning projects ranging from print assignments, custom illustrations, editorial, signage, and digital graphic design. In all of her design work, Suzanne focuses on creativity, attention to detail and the quickest possible delivery times.
The corporate identity packages developed and designed by Suzanne include logos, marketing materials and packages featuring business cards, letterhead, envelopes, annual reports, corporate mascot development and presentations.
In her current work with the American Academy of Audiology, Suzanne is the art director and designer of the Academy’s flagship feature news publication, a bimonthly magazine titled Audiology Today. Her work with the Academy also includes a variety of digital and print design projects, as well as providing the theme and the look for the organization’s annual conferences.
Before founding Beane Design, Suzanne served as head of the Commerce One multimedia department. Prior to joining Commerce One, she served as creative director at BDW Design in Detroit, overseeing and producing design projects for several high-profile automotive companies.
To date, Suzanne’s freelance work has led to nine wins in 99Designs logo competitions. Her web design work has brought countless Webby and Hot Site of the Day awards and she was a major participant on a team that took first place in the "Masters of the Web" site-design competition.
In addition, Suzanne provided pro bono art direction and design support for several years to the world’s largest PEZ toy show, PEZamania.
Suzanne’s areas of interest in the fine arts include photography, lino-cut printing, and painting. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
